Agreed.  He set the NFL record for completion percentage last year and threw for more than 4,000 yards.  His interceptions were in the single digits - his fewest as a Saint.  It was a great year for Brees.  He didn't have more TDs because of the emergence of the red zone rushing attack from Ingram and Kamara.  But it was anything but a down year for Brees.

I didn't mean down year as he played bad, but down in the numbers he put up. That is why Down was put in quotations to indicate not a rue down year.
