  1. If I recall, HBO wanted a 10 episode season but D&D nixed that and it obviously showed down to the small details of the coffee cup on the table and water bottle next to someone's leg in the finale. I'll bet that D&D let it happen the way it did so they could turn their attention to getting Disney's keys to the castle, namely being in charge of the next Star Wars trilogy. I'm pretty meh about the ending and season overall. The battle at Winterfell and the episode before where everyone was hanging out were my favorite parts, especially anything Tormund-related. I wish that somehow Arya would have been more involved in the end using her face swapping abilities, I feel like she became an afterthought after taking out the NK and went to KL for basically nothing since she didn't get to confront Cersei. I did like Cleganbowl and the redemption of the Hound coming full circle. If Bran can see everything and future events, it feels like he orchestrated the whole thing by telling Jon who he really was which led to everyone else finding out and contributing in part to Dany going full Mad Queen and destroying KL, so Bran not trying to prevent all that death and destruction makes him partially responsible for it, especially when he was like 'why do you think I came here' when offered the throne. The cinematography and use of CGI was spectacular overall though and hands down Peter Dinklage was the best actor overall IMO...
  2. He's visiting the Browns tomorrow, they've got the money and building hype to get him, but I'm still hoping he considers us for a chance at a ring...
  3. Drew certainly is lobbying for him, good stuff...
  4. I hope they still make a play for McCoy, I see this as a depth signing? https://www.canalstreetchronicles.com/2019/5/21/18633460/saints-sign-wes-horton?fbclid=IwAR1bNTP1pW6moghQwRgJkrB1lRWeSZJDBncHIcrmSNM0xRwFvHkYah5YAg0 Horton, a 29-yr. old defensive end, first entered the league as an undrafted free agent from U.S.C. with the Panthers in 2013. He had 2 sacks in ten games with Carolina that season, and would see action in 77 games with 35 starts over six years with the team. The 6'5, 265-lb. Horton has 15.5 sacks, 23 quarterback hits, 7 forced fumbles, and 95 tackles during his six year NFL career. He joins a Saints team with two former Carolina teammates on the roster, wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr.and linebacker A.J. Klein.
  5. I hope Loomis goes after McCoy... glad we addressed the OL this offseason...
  6. His reactions to rock/metal songs are priceless, he really seems to be having fun learning about these genres...
  7. That is what he's being called. As a casual Pels fan, I really do like the direction this franchise is heading in w/ the management changes. They just hired Trajan Langdon as GM and it has been praised league-wide, along w/ the Griffin and Nelson hirings...
  8. I had myself a day and watched Capt. Marvel and Endgame back to back 2 weeks ago... I must have picked the right time to pee, it was during Ant Man's hilarious time travel scene where he became a baby, I only missed the part where he became a teen and baby, but I was able to see that scene online w/ a pirated copy that is pretty good quality, so I missed nada overall lol... Oh and RIP Grumpy Cat...
  9. Bruh, take my money!
  10. This is pretty damn cool... That's a lot of talent in one room...
  11. Wow, I would have never expected this from him...

  13. All I want to know is this... is the episode going to be nuts?
  14. That is Zion Williamson's head photoshopped onto either Ben Watson's or MT's body. The Pelicans won the Draft lottery the other night and have the 1st overall pick and the team will be picking Zion out of Duke at #1.
  15. Yeah, that's all I saw from the national 'experts'. They're acting like Zion will ruin his career here and the amount of misinformation regarding the changes in the franchise is laughable. One moron on ESPN (who was ironically set straight to some degree by Stephen A. Smith who lost his diddly-poo on social media/ESPN after the Knicks got #3), said that he would be lucky to not get injured here since the Saints/Pels were sharing their rehab personnel. Griffin has already brought in a great rehab professional from the Suns and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they're going to build a Pels-only rehab facility. He's starting off on the right foot and I love how Gayle is running things in letting him bring his best vision to NOLA. https://www.theadvocate.com/new_orleans/sports/pelicans/article_bf46e7da-6b9a-11e9-9947-afe9bf8fbbae.html David Griffin’s first splash hire won’t ever put on a uniform. In fact, he won’t coach, and he won't even help select the players. But considering the New Orleans Pelicans’ past, his expertise is what fans around here have pined for. Because Aaron Nelson can help keep Pelicans players on the court. Monday night, Griffin closed a deal to bring in Nelson, the Phoenix Suns' lauded head athletic trainer, to take over the Pelicans’ training staff. It’s the latest signal the Pelicans are operating differently. When Anthony Davis informed the world he wanted out of New Orleans, turning the franchise into a national punching bag, it catalyzed a movement within the Pelicans’ offices. Since then, owner Gayle Benson not only removed Dell Demps from the top of the organization, she has restructured it around Griffin, severing some questionable ties to the Saints and providing the team’s new VP of basketball operations the resources to build a competent structure around him.
  16. Not gonna lie though, must suck to be a NY sports fan so far this spring lol...
  17. It's going to come down to David Griffin and AD's agent... Griffin said that he has yet to speak directly w/ AD so that needs to happen ASAP IMO. Good thing is that Griffin and AD's agent Rich Paul are familiar with each other. This is why Gayle doing the right thing w/ the Pels in getting rid of Demps, bringing in Griffin, and fully separating the Saints/Pels management is going to pay off in the future IMO. I feel like Gayle is committed to the Pels not being the red-headed stepchild in the Saints' shadow and wants to build another winner which honestly is something I never felt from TB. https://clutchpoints.com/pelicans-news-david-griffin-says-he-has-spoken-with-rich-paul-about-anthony-davis/
  18. Taysom Hill v 2.0? He's played several positions... https://www.neworleanssaints.com/video/kaden-eliss-i-m-excited-to-go-out-and-learn-more-each-day
