To me this is the rookie that I'm most interested in seeing on the field and I'm really glad he signed sooner instead of later. I know a lot of people want to see the new TE, and I'm sure that Graham is (or at least I'm willing to grant that he has great potential to be) dazzling but we have soooo many weapons on offense already. How many touches can we really spare for him anyway?
On the other hand solid DB play is so important to Greg Williams' defense and while I like Randall Gay as a nickelback he certainly has weaknesses and let's face it he really can not sub as a #1 or #2 CB if our starters go down. If Robinson is really a shut down corner as billed then it gives GW a lot more options and maybe our defense doesn't suffer as much as it did last year when both Greer and Porter weren't able to start. While I love both Jabari and Tracy I do not have a lot of confidence that either (or both) can stay healthy for a full season + playoffs.

Agreed. In Williams' system, two solid CB's just are not enough. I think Jenkins and Robinson were both picked with Gregg Williams' system in mind.

We went 40 years without a good CB. Now we've got 4 or 5 really good ones. I guess Payton watched enough of Jason David that he was determined to fix the problem. And fix it he did.
I think Mike M. was a good CB, just by the end of his career nobody bothered to throw at him because Jason David was way too tempting to target.
