Hey everybody,
Long-suffering Falcons fan here. I'm a regular over at FalconsRoost.com where BillyC (poster here) stops by from time to time. BillyC has always been super cool over there so I thought I'd drop in here to say "howdy".
You guys are having a year like we had year 2 of Diddly Poo, Jr. Meaning, you go into the year with really high expectations and the team just unravels for whatever reason.
And we're having a year like your Katrina year. Please don't misunderstand me - an incarcerated QB and a quitter HC in no way compares to a hurricane decimating your city. But it is similar in that we went though a sh*t storm last year and now the sunshine is finally shining on us again. And man it feels good.
I didn't come here to gloat. In fact, I wanted to say that your team put a familiar pit in my stomach watching Brees flinging his way to a possible comeback. I have lots of respect for the Saints and their fans. I find both to be the most relatable to Atlanta; similar history, age, and triumphs and heartbreaks. You guys are like a friendly rivalry, like cousins or something.
Anyway, hang in there. If you guys could piece together a defense, you guys would be pretty scary. Again, kind of like us :)
Oh yeah, one more thing: Billy Miller > Jeremy Schokley

Welcome Lance
Matt Ryan is for real. What's scary for Saints fans is he's only going to get better.

Hey, thanks faceman. I almost mentioned you in my original post, but I wasn't sure you were on this board and used the same board name. An my ass is too lazy to use the member search button ...

What's up, Lance? Wish I could say it was a good game. :D
Seriously, though, your team seems to be built for the long haul - Good QB, great running game, and a defense on the rise. My Saints have some real issues they need to address.
